The Master Swordsman Chronicles is the main project that I am working on.
Currently it consists of three finished novels in their first drafts called; “Order Of The Black”, "Breaking All Illusions" and "An Unseen Empire.". There is going to be a fourth book within this series, that i have put on hold writing due to commitments elsewhere and a desire to make sure that the first three books of the series are up to scratch.
Blurb of Order Of The Black
In a world where Dwarves, Elves and Humans live side by side, betrayal is rife and the smallest crime can lead to your exile. The world watches as wars rage, one country tears itself apart and another gets destroyed in its totality. Order Of The Black follows the story of the travelling Master Swordsman Isake Dresden as he joins joins the Order of the Black; the keepers of justice in the Kingdom of Azamanda, and recounts his exploits as his is promoted to the post of second in command. Can Isake deal with the pressure of such a lofty position weighing down on his shoulders?
Will Isake succeed in these new challenges or meet an untimely demise by his own hand?
Blurb of Breaking All Illusions
After a life-changing decision was made, Isake and friends find themselves in charge of 300,000 people in a brand new country: Gebo, lead by Caspiar, the king of the country. Isake has to take on a new role as leader of the human race, in an unprecedented change in the continent, where all three races finally live in peace together. Everyone watches as Isake tries to manage his old routine while trying to adapt to a new level of power he never once had.
As soon as he feels as though he has gotten there, another surprise gets thrown at him, seeing him achieve greater power than he thought was possible, once again, reuniting with someone who will keep him on track with handling such power.
Blurb of An Unseen Empire
Isake thinks that he has finally settled into his work, and continues to lead a hectic lifestyle, with the aid of good friends. His past repeatedly comes back to haunt him as he tries to accept that things he thought were true about himself were far from it and that some of the things from his past, even now hold true. Can he accept his past to make his future bright?
As this goes on, a surprise comes about, Something that happened to him long before the events in Order Of The Black rear their head and give him a more than positive outcome. Will he be able to work on this and be able to make amends with this outcome? or will it all get taken away from him again?

A Small Section of the First Book: Order Of The Black
“I don’t either-“ Isake got cut off as the doors swung inwards. The runner walked in front of him, signalling to follow. Isake followed him, stomach buzzing from fear and tension. As he walked in, he noticed the council were there, he could see Xanthir’s scathing glare from where he was standing. He went and bowed in front of the King.
“Mr Jeremiah Isake Dresden the third. You have been formally requested to join us here today. I can see that you have accepted this request and come, you are also aware of the reason I have asked you here, to become a part of the Order of the Black. Those in the Order are amongst the most important people in the entirety of this realm. They are the Commanders, the Judges of our land. I will expect some travelling from you, at the beginning, I will make sure that you are with Mr Ironsheild, learning the ropes at the start, then as you get more knowledgeable, you will be travelling alone, making the same decisions. Do you accept these responsibilities?” King Seolran asked.
“Yes I do” Isake responded, suddenly realising what being in the Order of the Black was about.
“And as you are the one who saved me from certain death, and this country from turmoil, you will be able, like Kilnir, to select people to join the black. I know you are an honourable person, the council have been stifling you all these years, and this is a chance to be able to freely roam and help keep my presence. Do you accept?”
“Yes I do” Isake responded again.
“One last thing, The Black are protectors of the crown, even if I am killed you and Mr Ironsheild must do what it takes to keep the crown in the country, even if it means temporarily claiming the throne until a successor is found. Do you accept this last piece.”
“Yes I do” Isake responded for the last time. The King got off of the throne, and walked to where Isake was currently on one knee, bowing.
“I now announce you Isake Dresden, Order of the Black, Rank Second. Please stand and remove your blade from the sheath.” Isake stood up and followed what King Seolran said. He noticed that this dwarf-made blade was pale silver like the elves ones, but with black filigree running through it. King Seolran put his hand over Isake’s pointing the blade upwards. He carefully put his hand on the blade, and hinted that Isake was to let go of it, which Isake did. Looking at the blade carefully King Seolran announced.
“I hereby call this blade Justice. It is a fine blade, well-wrought and forged. It mirrors the sense of justice and sense that its new owner shows. May ye show compassion to those who need it and mercy to those who require It.” he handed it back to Isake who placed it flat into his hands. King Seolran spread his arms “Everyone please stand, Isake, you as well, I would now like to formally welcome you into the order, and as a member, you have free roam to go anywhere in this land whenever you so wish, as long as it helps you in what you need. Let us feast!” he exclaimed. Everyone filed out and into the larger part of the Great Chamber. Kilnir walked up to Isake as he was putting his sword back into its sheath...
